Dates/Times: Thursdays May 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th | 4:00-6:00pm This is a course - you are signing up for all 4 sessions In the Art Garage Pottery Studio Minimum age: 12 Registration fee: $120 Materials fee: $ 25 (*clay & glazes) Optional - Tool kit ($15) available for purchase from the Art Garage *Clay must be the approved Stoneware clay purchased from the Art Garage Continue (or begin) your creative handbuilding adventures with clay. We’ll learn, practice, and expand our skills in forming, texturing and decorating stoneware clay into functional or sculptural shapes. Skills we’ll learn and practice: Wedging Tools and how to use them Slab making for functional and sculptural pieces Coiling techniques Smoothing and texturing Glazing and decorating Note: dinnerware drape and slump molds will be available during class sessions for you to make your own set of custom dishes, platters and bowls.
