1.   Video runtime - 4 minutes minimum/ 20 minutes maximum.

 

2.   Video must be in - “landscape” format, MP4 video format, .MOV, color or black & white.

 

3.   This is a juried film festival. All decisions will be final.

 

4.   No inappropriate behavior in any form may be submitted in the film. Examples: physical abuse or threats; use of derogatory, explicit, or discriminatory language, gestures or actions; any form of harassment, racism, sexism.  We reserve the right to revoke any film.  We are a family focused venue.

 

5.   Filmmaker or films must have a Colorado connection.

 

6.   Participant may enter more than one film, but each film must be accompanied by a separate entry form.

 

7.   Filmmaker MUST submit the following, with their film(s), to be considered.    

            1. Written biography  2. Written film synopsis   3. Poster of film with film name and director's name

 

8.   If participant is under legal age (18 years of age), we must have parent or guardian consent on the entry form.

 

9.   All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have permission and submit a copy to the GMSFF Organizer.

 

10.   Festival committee reserves the right to use a 30 second extract of the film for promotional purposes.

 

11.   No early or late submissions will be accepted.
