Book Launch and Springtime Scholarship Fundraiser

Join local author D.P. Benjamin for the launch of his dystopian novel, Mountain: A Cautionary Tale. Published in two volumes, Mountain is a compilation of nearly 100 serialized episodes which appeared in the High Country Spotlight/Shopper. Enhancing existing episodes and adding new chapters, the author reimagines history from 1936 to 1942 and tells the story of a colossal public works project to build an artificial mountain range along the Colorado/Kansas border. When a wealthy recluse hijacks the project to serve his own sinister purposes, unlikely heroes spark a revolution.

Profits from the event go to the Cedaredge Rotary Club Foundation to support university and technical college scholarships for Cedaredge High School students.
